Bald Eagles' Nest
Katmai National Park, Alaska

We may come to Katmai to photograph its bears, but this eagles' nest was an exceptional photo opportunity for us. From 3:00 to 9:00 PM we observed and photographed the eagles at this nest. Yes, 6 hours and we would have stayed longer if shadows hadn't hit the nest.
