The Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary was the subject of a few articles I had read. Supposedly photographers could get very close to a lot of wild black bears, without risk to life or limb. That sounded good to me, so with a phone call and an email I had a permit for two full days. It was true, there where many bears and I was closer than I needed to be.
