Great Blue Heron
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
It
was an overcast day, just cold enough to snow. I spotted this Heron
close to the road in the Hayden Valley. I drove by, set up my camera
on a window mount and then returned slowly to a good spot. This "stalking" technique
has worked well for me.
